For sellers who need a local AR

Appoint a packaging EPR authorised representative in one workspace.

The list of authorised representatives is in smbf.me. Open a sales country, read a published offer, and send the agreement from that same account. You do not hunt a firm country by country. Once the agreement is signed, reports for that country go to the representative you appointed.

One account

Each sales country keeps its own authorised representative.

You can open an application for every country you ship to, from the same login. One live application is allowed per country. That is how the cabinet is built. It is not one signature for the whole Union.

How the workspace does it

Choose, apply, then sign the agreement.

These are the screens in the cabinet, not a general sketch.

Choose

The workspace opens on a country list. A country page shows published authorised representative offers: the organisation, what the fee covers, and the service window. If nobody is published there yet, the page says so. You read the card before you apply. Documents that prove the representative can accept a mandate stay on the card. You look at them. You do not return them.

Apply

The button on the card is Apply for an agreement. A form opens with your legal name, address, VAT and contact already filled. Those fields do not change in this window. If the representative left templates, you download the mandate, the contract or the power of attorney, sign them, and attach the files to this application. The representative sees them with the request. You can still send the application when no template is ready. While an application is live, you cannot open a second one for the same country.

Sign the agreement

The conversation stays on that application. Statuses you will see are Submitted, Clarification, In progress and Agreement signed. Refusal, withdrawn and terminated are labelled the same way in the list. Until the status is Agreement signed, the next move sits with you or with the representative. After it is signed, that thread closes and reports for the country go to that authorised representative.

Then you open the next sales country and do the same. One signature per country.

  1. 01

    Open the country

In the workspace, open the country list and pick a sales destination. Published authorised representative offers sit on that country page.

  2. 02

    Read the offer

Open a card before you apply. You see the organisation, the fee, the service window, and the materials it covers. Registry extracts and insurance stay on the card for reading. You do not send them back.

  3. 03

    Apply for an agreement

The button on the card is Apply for an agreement. The form already shows your legal name, address, VAT and contact. You cannot edit those fields here.

  4. 04

    Attach signed files

Download the mandate, contract or power of attorney template, sign it, and attach the file to the same application. The representative receives it with the request. You can send the application without files if no template is ready.

  5. 05

    Follow the application

The thread stays on that application. Statuses you will see are Submitted, Clarification, In progress and Agreement signed. Refusal, withdrawn and terminated have their own labels. One live application is allowed per country.

  6. 06

Send reports, then the next country

Once the status is Agreement signed, reports for that country go to that authorised representative. Open the next sales country from the same account and start again.

The report comes later

A report without an agreement is a file.

The workspace can still prepare a country report from your orders. That file does not name who acts for you. The agreement does. After Agreement signed, the same report goes to the authorised representative you appointed.

What the platform does not do

smbf.me is not the authorised representative.

The workspace holds the offers and the application. The signature, the invoice and the producer duties stay with the parties who already own them.

  • 01

    We do not sign

The mandate is between you and the representative. smbf.me does not sign it and does not stand in that role.

  • 02

We do not invoice the fee

The representative sets the price and bills you. The platform does not take a cut of that fee.

  • 03

We do not replace the scheme

The mandate does not replace producer registration or a collection-scheme contract. Those stay separate.

Before you open the workspace

Short answers on the agreement.

If your own firm can accept a packaging EPR mandate, use the partner programme.

How do I appoint an authorised representative for packaging EPR?

Open a sales country in the workspace, read a published offer, press Apply for an agreement, attach signed templates if you have them, and stay in that thread until the status is Agreement signed.

Can I contract a packaging EPR representative without leaving the workspace?

Yes. The offer, the application and the signed files sit on the same account that already holds your orders and reports.

Do I need a different authorised representative in every EU country?

Usually yes. Each country has its own representative and its own agreement. You open those applications from one account. One signature does not cover 27 countries.

Is an EPR report the same as appointing the representative?

No. A report is a file. Appointing the representative names who acts for you in that country. After Agreement signed, the file goes to that person.

Who signs the mandate and who is paid?

You and the authorised representative sign. The representative sets the fee and invoices you. smbf.me does not take a cut of that fee.

Does the mandate replace the PRO contract?

No. Producer registration and the collection-scheme contract stay separate. The mandate only names the representative.

Same account as the reports

Open the workspace and pick a country.

The published offers sit on the country page. The agreement starts from the card.
